The Circus was in Town

No I do not mean The Great Loritz Circus. Which by the way was absolutely fantastic in my opinion. Rather, it was the surprise visit of a large group of family that transformed Gothenburg Crescent to a party town for 7 days.

The initial plan, or at least that was what I thought it was, was for Arwin and Naz to come by and spend a week with us. Behind the scenes though, there had been some sort of surprise in the works with Sangeetha being the mole/accomplice behind a mastermind operation that saw Arwin and Naz, Nicholas and Anna and Rohen come to Darwin much to the delight and surprise of Navin.

It was a fabulous week of joy and craziness and the seven of us had such a blast no thanks to the constant loony moments between Arwin, Nicholas and Rohen which usually ended up in Rohen getting physically damaged. Coupled with the fact that, the three of them have this incessant ability to randomly break into loud and animated singing moments meant that the once quiet Darwin neighbourhood had now seen an increase in it's decibel average.

Anyway, to fully describe what the seven days of seven souls was like would mean that I might become an author of a series of books which I currently do not intend to become. Therefore, I will simplify this post by adding a series of photos and a couple of videos for you to get a better picture of what went on :)

These were just some of the snapshots taken from the week. Needless to say that when they eventually left, it was with a heavy heart and for Sang and I, it was time to get accustomed to the quiet and empty apartment again. We are thankful for all our friends and family constantly visiting us and this has made our transition to Darwin life all the more pleasant.
