Bye Bye Dry

So the dry season is just about done and the wet season is looming upon us. The past few days have been an unpredictable confusion of scorching days with no cloud cover and the familiar humid  heat with tumultuous clouds. It's time to keep our sweaters and pullovers deep into the depths of our cupboards. It's time for my photography gear to be stored in the dry box. It's time for 3-4 baths daily. It's time for roads to clear up, it's time for lighting storms, it's time for torrential rains, it's time for the crocs to move between water bodies, it's time for roads to be submerged, it's time for almost no festivals, it's time for Mindil Markets to cease, it's time for Corroboree Billabong to drown, it's time for cyclone possibilities, it's time for green tree frogs to come out and dance, it's time for weddings to cease, it's time for less brown and more green.  It's time...  I'm all set for the wet.
